This page explains what the shard.games website does with visitor data.
What this site does not do
This site:
- sets no cookies;
- has no accounts and no sign-in;
- has no forms;
- uses no tools that measure its audience;
- shows no ads;
- loads nothing from other companies: the text, the images and the typeface all come from shard.games itself.
Visit logs
The server that hosts the site may keep a record of each visit: the IP address (which identifies your internet connection), the date and time, the page opened, and which browser and operating system you use. This record is used to protect the site and keep it running.
Idle WarSeas Online
The button to play leads to Idle WarSeas Online, at idlewarseas.shard.games, which is a separate service: it has accounts, with a username, email and password. This page only covers the shard.games website.

Links to Discord lead to a separate service, which has its own privacy policy.
